About This Game

SEAR is a high-speed anti-gravity racing game where every race is built around a single song. As the song moves through its phases, the course transforms with it, bringing new environments, new challenges, and new intensity.

You're not just hearing the music. You're surfing it.

Every phase runs for a set period of time, driven by the song. The winner of each phase is the racer in the lead. At the end of the song, whoever won the most phases wins the race. It's an entire Grand Prix run over the course of a single song. 

Each SEAR level is a crafted, bespoke experience inspired by the music, like a music video in racing game form.

There's no game over in SEAR. Mistakes can cost you rank and speed, but they don't stop the song and they don't end the race. From the first phase to the last, the music plays through.

Reswaves are gifts from the song that you can catch to power up. They might create a speed boost, laser fire at a rival, or light in an otherwise dark phase. Every song and even every phase might have different Reswave effects, based on what the music is doing at that time.

No need for frame-perfect timing here. Stay focused on the race and hit or even mash the button to catch the reswave and get its effect.

SEAR's controls combine kart-style mini-boost drifting with tight anti-gravity strafing, while turning into a strafe gives you rapid course correction without losing momentum. Together they produce a driving style that feels new but becomes instinctive quickly.

Feeling hungry? Strive Mode is built for competition, with full mechanics and vehicle control suite.

Rather chill tonight? Vibe Mode brings a heavier focus on the music and the experience over technical skill.

There’s no wrong way to play. SEAR is built for both.

Every vehicle has customizable UI light bars directly on it, saving you from having to hunt all over the screen for vital information. In these lights you can see your turbo count, rank, remaining time, or even the strength of your lead – whatever you assign to them – all positioned directly within your sightline.
