What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'm developing largely on my own and want to tune how the game feels—difficulty, pacing, readability—using feedback from real players. The core loop and /start sessions are already playable, but rough edges remain. Early Access lets me gather input before a fuller launch and fold it into balance and polish without locking everything in stone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm currently aiming for roughly six months to one year in Early Access, but that may shift depending on feedback and how quickly I can iterate while still learning the ropes. I'm not committing to a fixed exit date yet—I'd like to graduate from EA once the experience feels solid enough to recommend without major caveats.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build already includes the main approval-judgment loop in a terminal-style UI, session-based /start progression, Japanese and English interface text, and optional extra log-only display windows. Toward a fuller release, I'm planning to expand scenarios and presentation, keep tuning difficulty and readability, and improve quality-of-life where players get stuck. I'm also exploring ideas like Steam achievements or richer audio support, but I'll treat those as possibilities—not guarantees—and prioritize based on feedback and what I can realistically ship while I'm still learning. I won't promise specific features or a hard finish date here.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable end-to-end: terminal-style approval judgments, /start sessions, Japanese and English UI, and optional extra log-only display windows all work as intended for the core fantasy. As a first Steam release I'm still ironing out balance, clarity, and occasional bugs—updates will keep tightening things rather than saving everything for one giant drop.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“At this time I do not intend to raise the store price during Early Access or after switching to full release. Steam handles regional pricing automatically—I'm not outlining amounts in any single currency here. If circumstances ever made a change unavoidable, I would announce it in advance with clear reasoning rather than surprising buyers.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Reviews and Steam Community discussions are the most helpful: what felt fair, what confused you, or anything that broke. I'm a solo developer, so concrete notes make it easier to prioritize fixes and tuning—especially difficulty and readability. Wishlists and telling friends help too. I'll post patch notes when I can and fold feedback into updates as my capacity allows.”

About This Game

No token cap😎 Stay with the logs as long as you like.

AI Agent Lover is a bite-sized desktop game that puts you in front of a terminal-style screen and asks you to approve or deny AI agent proposals with ok/deny. Read the streaming logs, answer "Should I proceed with this?" within seven seconds, and keep picking the safer side. Correct streaks build combo multipliers (up to x5) plus time bonuses—slip toward danger and the score drops hard.

A terminal-style intro greets you on launch. On the main screen, each /start runs a set of about ten questions—manual calls, real score, real streaks. Open extra displays with /displays and watch logs roll on their own, enough to soak in the quiet joy of feeling like you're running AI agents across your desk.

What you can expect

・Start from the intro with simple commands

・Roughly 200 dev dilemmas across Git, DB, infra, scraping, and more

・Tense back-and-forth as logs arrive line by line

・Seven-second ok/deny approval calls with score and streak combos

Controls

Use ← → or click to pick ok/deny during approval prompts (yes/no-style input works too). Use /start, /setting, and /displays from the intro or in-game. Tune font, opacity, BGM volume, display count, and language in settings. Arrow keys browse command history. Switch the interface between Japanese and English.
