Raise and care for a virtual creature known as a Metamon. A previously unknown lifeform made entirely of data. Metamon inhabit file systems and moves freely across networks and devices. This software was created to contain them in a safe environment while we attempt to understand their true nature.

Feed your Metamon, pet it, and care for it when it's sick. Keep its needs fulfilled to help it live a long and healthy life.
As you interact with your Metamon, the bond between you will grow and you will shape its personality, behaviour, and future evolution.

A Metamon evolves through 6 distinct stages of life, with countless forms waiting to be discovered. Every evolution path has hidden requirements waiting to be uncovered. Can you complete the family tree to learn the truth behind each egg?

Battle instincts are embedded deep within every Metamon's digital DNA. While they can live a happy lives without fighting, only those pushed to their limits can unlock their full potential. Train your Metamon, challenge powerful opponents, and help it reach its final form.

Eventually, every Metamon must return to the great data stream beyond. But this is not the end.
Their data lives on, recycled and carried on into future generations.
