Shadow Gangs Zero is a fast-paced 2D ninja action platformer inspired by the golden age of arcade gaming, combining classic gameplay with detailed pixel art, fluid animation and modern refinements.

Choose to play as Dan or Monika, two powerful ninjas with their own presence on the battlefield, and fight to rescue captive ninjas from the Shadow Gangs.

Play the adventure solo with either character, or team up in 2-player local co-op, with Dan and Monika fighting side by side.

Fight your way through 43 levels spanning ruined cities, neon cyberpunk environments, imposing castles and many other locations.

Each mission introduces new enemies, situations and challenges, keeping the adventure varied from beginning to end.

Along the way, you'll face:

• 2 different bonus stages that return with increasing difficulty

PLAY AS DAN OR MONIKA

In single-player, choose your ninja and take on the Shadow Gangs as either Dan or Monika.

In local co-op, both heroes enter the fight together, letting two players battle side by side through the game's levels.

2-PLAYER LOCAL CO-OP

Team up with another player and experience Shadow Gangs Zero together.

One player controls Dan, the other controls Monika, as you combine attacks, rescue ninjas and fight your way through enemies, massive mini-bosses and epic boss battles.

BUILT WITH REAL ARCADE ROOTS

Shadow Gangs Zero was developed with the Neo Geo hardware at its heart, pushing classic 2D technology with large animated characters, multiple parallax layers, detailed environments and action-packed encounters.

The Steam version takes the presentation even further with enhanced visual effects, additional environmental detail and spatialised sound.

CLASSIC CHALLENGE, MODERN REFINEMENTS

Shadow Gangs Zero keeps the intensity of classic arcade action while removing some of its frustrations.

There is no stage time limit, allowing you to explore and fight at your own pace. Health pickups give you more opportunities to recover, while fast restarts get you back into the action quickly after defeat.
