This is Not a Snake Game is a short, fourth-wall-breaking meta-narrative desktop pet idle game.

A little snake that has “awakened” inside a classic game now lives on your desktop, keeping you company while you work, take a break, or simply stare into space.

Remember that little snake that did nothing but follow your mouse around and gobble up apples?

After countless loops, it's finally developed a tiny spark of consciousness—one that was never supposed to exist.

Use “bugs” to help it escape the game and make its way onto your desktop!

Five interchangeable tails and all kinds of cute accessories to wear on its head!
