What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Redemption: The Sin Eternal is being developed by a solo developer, and Early Access allows me to build the game alongside the community while continuing to expand, polish, and improve the experience. The game already has its core horror direction, atmosphere, exploration, split-screen support, and gameplay systems in place, but I want player feedback to help shape the final version.

Early Access will give players the opportunity to experience the game as it grows, while providing valuable feedback on pacing, scares, level design, enemy encounters, performance, controls, and overall gameplay balance. As a solo developer, this feedback is extremely important in helping me refine the game and make it the strongest horror experience possible.

My goal is to continue adding new content, improving existing areas, fixing issues, and expanding the story over time until the full release feels complete, polished, and genuinely terrifying.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect Redemption: The Sin Eternal to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. As a solo developer, this timeframe gives me room to expand the story, add new areas, improve gameplay systems, polish split-screen support, optimize performance, fix bugs, and respond to player feedback before the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Redemption: The Sin Eternal is planned to include more story content, additional levels, expanded environments, new enemy encounters, improved scares, more polished gameplay systems, better performance optimization, bug fixes, and overall improvements based on player feedback.

The Early Access version will focus on introducing the core horror experience, including exploration, supernatural encounters, split-screen support, first-person and third-person gameplay, and the foundation of the story. The full release is intended to feel more complete, polished, and expanded, with additional content and refinements added throughout development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Redemption: The Sin Eternal includes the foundation of the core horror experience, including exploration, atmospheric environments, supernatural themes, local split-screen support, and the ability to switch between first-person and third-person gameplay.

Players can experience early story content, explore completed areas, encounter horror events, read notes, hear unsettling audio, and begin uncovering the mystery behind St. Lucia’s Home for Children. Some systems, levels, enemy encounters, animations, performance optimization, and story elements are still being developed and will continue to improve throughout Early Access based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, I currently plan to keep the price the same during and after Early Access. As the game continues to grow, I want early players to feel confident supporting the project without worrying about a planned price increase at full release.

If this changes in the future, I will communicate any pricing updates clearly ahead of time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to involve the community by listening closely to player feedback throughout Early Access. Player input will help guide improvements to pacing, scares, level design, enemy encounters, controls, performance, split-screen support, and overall gameplay polish.

As a solo developer, community feedback is extremely valuable in helping me identify what is working, what needs improvement, and what players would like to see added or refined. I plan to review feedback, fix reported issues, improve existing content, and use player suggestions to help shape the final version of the game.”

About This Game

Redemption: The Sin Eternal is a dark psychological horror game about guilt, possession, and a priest trapped inside the sins of his past.

You play as Father Lucian Vale, a Catholic priest drawn into a cursed orphanage where the line between confession, punishment, and damnation begins to disappear. As the night unfolds, Lucian is forced to explore haunted rooms, abandoned halls, and twisted spiritual realms connected to the suffering of the children who once lived there. The game offers a split-screen experience, as the second player gets to play as Father John.

But something is wrong. The orphanage is not simply abandoned — it remembers. Voices whisper through radios, phones ring in empty rooms, toys move on their own, and demonic figures stalk the darkness. Every note, sound, and supernatural encounter reveals more about what happened inside the orphanage, and what Lucian may have done before he arrived.

  • Psychological horror story centered on Father Lucian Vale, a priest confronting his past sins.

  • Single-player and local split-screen co-op support.
