About This Software

About This Software

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen. Raw Studio is proud to present the star of the show: Raw Video 2.2.

Raw Video is a Windows Image-to-video desktop application that transforms still images into short animated video clips locally. Load an image, add custom motion notes, click Animate, and let your supported NVIDIA RTX desktop hardware bring the picture to life.

This local creation tool is built for creators who want to make videos without managing model files, chasing broken download links, buying cloud credits, spending generation tokens, waiting in remote render queues, or fighting through complicated setup.

Raw Video keeps the act simple: import your image, describe the motion, press the button, and generate your animated clip.

Local Generation

Raw Video runs on supported Windows PCs only. Steam installation, updates, ownership verification, and first-time activation may require an internet connection, but video generation itself does not use cloud credits, generation tokens, or a cloud render queue.

The application includes the local video engine, required model files, runtime components, and video-processing tools it needs to run. Users do not need to search for external models, download unofficial packages, manually assemble folders, or rely on third-party links that may vanish behind the curtain.

Raw Video has a large installation size because the local engine, runtime, model files, and processing tools are bundled with the app. The show travels with its own stage.

Current Generation Workflow

Raw Video 2.2 uses a streamlined Animate path instead of exposing multiple render modes.

Basic workflow:

  • Load a source image.

  • Add Motion Notes.

  • Click Animate to generate a new clip. The standard Animate output is created at 960 x 544 before optional enhancement.

  • Once a video is complete, optionally click Enhance This Video to create a higher-detail, upscaled 1080p version.

  • Send generated clips or still cards to the Timeline.

  • Export the final video from the Timeline.

The goal is simple: import an image, add motion notes, generate a clip, enhance it if desired, and assemble the final output.

Output Behavior

Raw Video uses source-aware output behavior instead of forcing every image into one shape.

Expected output types:

  • Landscape images create landscape clips.

  • Vertical images create vertical clips.

  • Square or near-square images create square-style clips.

Timeline export is designed to preserve aspect ratio consistency when possible. For mixed-shape timelines, Raw Video may use a presentation-style canvas to combine different aspect ratios safely.

Enhance This Video

Enhance This Video creates a higher-detail, upscaled version of the current generated clip. It is designed as a final polish pass after generation. Repeated enhancement of the same clip is not recommended.

Raw Video performs size and duration checks before enhancement. Some clips may trigger warnings, and clips that are too long or too large for the current enhancement workflow may be blocked to protect stability and performance.

High-Performance Hardware Requirements

Raw Video is built for high-end local AI video generation. A supported NVIDIA RTX desktop GPU is required, with 16 GB dedicated VRAM as the recommended target requirement. 24 GB VRAM provides additional headroom for complex sources, longer sessions, and background workload.

Performance depends on more than the GPU model printed on the box. CPU, system RAM, storage speed, PCIe bandwidth, cooling, driver stability, background processes, model-loading state, and source-image complexity can all affect render behavior.

Systems below the recommended specifications may open the software, but they are not recommended and may experience very long processing times, failed renders, or unstable performance.

Best Practices For Results

Raw Video works best with sharp, high-quality images where the main subject is close or at medium distance.

For better results:

  • Use clear, well-lit images.

  • Make sure the subject is easy to see.

  • Keep Motion Notes concise and motion-focused.

  • Describe visible movement instead of rewriting the entire scene.

  • Clearly identify the subject or object you want to animate.

Subtle motion usually wins the spotlight. Head turns, camera drift, hair movement, breathing, looking around, and gentle environmental motion often produce more natural results than complex action.

Blur, distortion, low resolution, compression artifacts, or existing AI artifacts in the source image may be amplified during animation.

Known Limitations Of AI Video Generation

Raw Video can produce strong local AI-generated video results, especially with clear close or medium-distance subjects, but AI video generation is not perfect.

Users may see artifacts or inaccuracies in:

  • Distant faces and background characters

  • Hands and fingers

  • Crowds and water scenes

  • Complex background motion

  • Small objects or fast movement

  • Heavily blurred or compressed source images

These are normal limitations of current local AI video technology. Better source images and simpler motion instructions usually lead to better results.

Rendering Times

Processing time varies by PC.

The first generation after launch may take longer because the local video engine and model files need to load. During the same session, later generations may be faster if models remain loaded and system resources allow.

Performance is influenced by GPU, VRAM, CPU, system RAM, storage speed, PCIe configuration, drivers, cooling, background workload, model-loading state, and source-image complexity.

Storage Notice

Raw Video has a substantial installation size because it includes the local video engine, required model files, bundled runtime components, and video-processing tools needed for local generation.

This is intentional. The goal is to provide a ready-to-use local image-to-video workflow without requiring users to locate, download, or configure additional model files.

Safety And Content Verification

Raw Video includes responsible-use notices, prompt safety checks, and a local source-image warning for possible explicit adult imagery. These measures are designed to help reduce disallowed or inappropriate use. Some prompts or source images may be blocked or may require user confirmation before use.

These safety measures do not guarantee that every output is safe, legal, platform-compliant, or cleared for commercial use. Users are responsible for the content they import, generate, publish, or distribute.

Content Usage Guidelines

Raw Video is intended for lawful creative use only.

Users are responsible for ensuring they own or have permission to use any imported source images and any additional materials included in projects, including images, clips, music, logos, characters, and other media.

Raw Video may be used for commercial projects when the user owns or has permission to use all source materials and the final output does not infringe third-party rights, violate laws, breach model usage terms, or violate platform policies.

Raw Video does not provide rights to copyrighted characters, trademarks, celebrity likenesses, private images, logos, or other protected materials unless the user has obtained proper authorization.

AI Technology Disclosure

Raw Video uses local AI models to generate motion and video content from imported images. Generated clips may include AI-created or AI-assisted visual changes, artifacts, unstable motion, unintended details, or other transformations produced by the AI models.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Raw Video uses generative AI to help users turn imported still images into short animated video clips. Users load an image, enter motion notes, and the app generates video locally on the user’s supported Windows PC.

Some store page, marketing, trailer, and demo visuals may also be created or assisted using generative AI tools.

Raw Video is a local creative tool. Users are responsible for the source images they import, the motion notes they enter, the videos they generate, and how they use, publish, or share the results. Users should only use images and other media they own or have legal rights to use, and must not create, modify, share, or distribute content that is non-consensual, exploitative, illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing.

Raw Video includes ownership, consent, and responsibility confirmations. When possible adult or sensitive source content is detected, the app may show an additional confirmation before proceeding.

Raw Video does not include in-game chat, online multiplayer, user-to-user content sharing, gambling, or in-app purchases.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Raw Video is a local creative tool that allows users to import their own images and generate short AI-assisted video clips from those images.

Raw Video itself is not adult-focused and does not include built-in sexual content, sexual acts, nudity, violence, gore, drug use, gambling, chat, multiplayer features, or story content involving sensitive themes.

Because Raw Video is a user-directed creation tool, users may choose to import source images that contain mature or sensitive material, including partial nudity or other adult imagery. Users are responsible for the images they load, the prompts they write, the videos they generate, and anything they publish or share.

Raw Video includes ownership, consent, and responsibility confirmations. Users are instructed to only use images they own or have legal rights to use, and not to create or share non-consensual, exploitative, illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing content.
