What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“B.L.U.E. is a highly systems-driven multiplayer space engineering sandbox focused on physics-based ship construction, combat, heat management, and emergent player creativity. Early Access allows us to develop these interconnected systems alongside the community while continuously improving gameplay balance, stability, performance, and quality-of-life features.

Our goal during Early Access is to expand the ship building system, add more components and gameplay mechanics, improve multiplayer infrastructure, refine combat balance, and introduce additional progression and sandbox features based on player feedback.

Because player-created ships and multiplayer interactions are at the core of the experience, community feedback is extremely valuable in helping us identify balance issues, usability problems, and new gameplay opportunities. We are committed to actively supporting and expanding the game throughout Early Access until it reaches a more complete and polished release state.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect B.L.U.E. to remain in Early Access for roughly 1 to 2 years, though this timeline may change depending on development progress and community feedback.

We want to ensure the core building systems, multiplayer experience, combat mechanics, and overall content reach a stable and polished state before leaving Early Access.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Multiple maps, more systems, programmable parts, automations, factory building, colonies, massive multiplayer, dedicated multiplayer servers, etc.

Many possiblities are hidden in this game!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version already includes the core gameplay experience of designing, building, and piloting custom spaceships in multiplayer combat environments.

Current features include:

* Physics-based spaceship construction
* Functional ship systems and modular components
* Real-time multiplayer PvP gameplay
* Heat and power management mechanics
* Ship combat with customizable weapon loadouts
* Sandbox-style engineering and experimentation
* Basic gameplay balancing and progression systems
* Multiple playable ship designs and combat scenarios

Players can already build functional ships, test engineering ideas, fight against other players, and experiment with different strategies and designs.

During Early Access, we plan to continue expanding content, improving stability and performance, refining the user experience, adding more components and gameplay systems, and evolving the multiplayer sandbox experience based on community feedback.

Please refer to the “About This Game” section for additional gameplay details and currently implemented features.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, its always gonna be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a major part of B.L.U.E.’s development process. We plan to actively gather feedback from players through Steam Discussions, community servers, gameplay testing, bug reports, and direct player suggestions.

Because the game focuses heavily on player creativity, ship engineering, and multiplayer interaction, community feedback helps us improve balance, usability, feature priorities, and long-term gameplay direction.

Players will help shape future updates by:

* Reporting bugs and gameplay issues
* Suggesting new ship components, mechanics, and features
* Providing balancing feedback for combat and progression systems
* Sharing ship designs and gameplay strategies
* Participating in testing for experimental features and updates

We intend to maintain open communication with the community throughout Early Access and regularly share development progress and upcoming changes.

About This Game

>>> WELCOME TO PROJECT B.L.U.E.

B.L.U.E. [Build, Launch, Upgrade, Evolve] is an simulation software designed by BlueHeaven Aerospace Corporation for training our engineers in space exploration, ship design and combat. It involves realistic simulations of both space physics and current technologies within the BlueHeaven product lineups. Your mission as the B.L.U.E. engineer is to Build the best ships, Fight other candidates, Improve your designs and Evolve your skills!

NOTICE: THE CURRENT STATE OF B.L.U.E. IS ONLY FOR CONCEPT VALIDATION, IT IS NOT NOT NOT A FULL GAME, EXPECT POTENTIAL BUGS AND PERFORMANCE ISSUES!

>>> SHIP BUILDING SYSTEM

Every spaceship in B.L.U.E. is player designed. We have a list of modular components for propulsion, radiation, combat, structure, defense, etc. Choose the parts for your dreadnought, snippers, interceptors or destroyers, and beat your friends or opponents in a way they never thought off!

Also, remember to be Cost Efficient! BlueHeaven Aerospace awards employees with designs that minimizes our cost in missions.

>>> PHYSICS AWARE SHIP PERFORMANCE

The maneuverbility and performace of your ship is entirely dependent on your design! B.L.U.E. uses a serious of physics simulations to compute mass, thrust and moment of inertia or your ship. If you cannot move or turn, there are some engines or RCS you forgot to add!

>>> HEAT AND RADIATION

How comes every space movie forget about HEAT! Every part on your ship generates heat, and we have an full heat conduction simulator. If you don't build these radiators to get rid of the heat you are gonna burn bright hot!

>>> Fight! Fight! Fight!

Finally its time to Test your design! hop into or start a server, call up your friends, and fight with your ship! Testing is the only way to validate and improve stuff in Aerospace, so embark and enjoy!
