Why Early Access?

“Fodders Grapple Gauntlet is still in active development and not yet a complete experience. While the core movement and gameplay systems are in place, several key areas still need improvement and expansion.

Additional levels are planned to increase overall playtime, along with updates to settings, menus, and user interface. Some visual elements and models are currently placeholders and will be replaced or refined to better match the game’s style.

Early Access allows the game to be shaped through player feedback. Input from the community will help guide improvements, refine mechanics, and influence future content as development continues.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan for it to go out of Early Access in a few months if everything goes right however challenges can spring up that could make it take a bit longer, but i will do my best to get it all done as quickly as I can”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to have full leaderboard support whether through a website or in game systems to see whos got the best times on what level, choices between game sound(when its added) and music to lower and raise each thing on its own, Many Many levels and interesting challenges, and if i can figure it out, i plan to add a PVP mode where players can go against their friends in races, time trials and the like”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Version currently has a few levels, music and volume slider, mouse sensitivity, mouse vertical flipping, and working menus and the like”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to keep it the same price the whole time as these features and level that will be added over time should be playable to all and not be limited to those who can afford those large prices of some games and DLCs ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Any ideas and ways to implement them would be greatly appreciated as long as you fantastic people know that I will add what I can and when I can add it,”

About This Game

Fodders Grapple Gauntlet is a first-person parkour and grappling game focused on speed, precision, and movement mastery. Your goal is simple: reach the end of each level as fast as possible.

Using a responsive grapple hook as your primary movement tool, you’ll swing, launch, and chain momentum to navigate challenging obstacle courses. Levels are designed to reward skill, experimentation, and efficient routes.

The game features a retro-inspired visual style, with a dark background and brightly colored blocks that are easy to read at high speeds. Each block type behaves differently, requiring you to adapt your movement and plan your path carefully to achieve faster times.

Movement Features

  • Grapple-based swinging and momentum control

  • Wall running and wall jumping

  • Sliding and crouching

  • Air strafing for mid-air control

  • Additional movement mechanics planned for future updates

Current State
