Discover an epic tale of heroic fantasy in The Wyndfinder, a CRPG inspired by the classics. Centuries of peace and prosperity are coming to an end, as the truth behind the very power that created it comes to light. Create your Wyndfinder, choose from nine unique characters to join your party, and answer the question: If the heroes of old become the villains, would you pull their statues down?

Explore a wisp-filled wooded Vale, its abandoned mines once a source of magical ore. Dodge traps and find hidden secrets in a long dormant Shrine awakened by a strange new power.  Muck your way through marshland, formed when a Titan of the ancient world felled a dark god from the depths of the sea.  Discover the seat of power in Jestril, the capital city that rules over all, to protect its own dark past.

With an original soundtrack composed by ambient dungeon synth wizard Witchbolt, an art style inspired by fantasy animation of the 80s, and a deep love of the original isometric RPGs of old, The Wyndfinder invites you to return to adventure!

Gather Your Party

With 7 playable Ancestries, 12 character classes, and 24 subclasses, you will be able to build your party in any way that you see fit.  Recruit nine unique characters to your party, each with their own story.  As you adventure, make choices, and progress the story, your relationship with each character will evolve based on their likes and dislikes.  Not all of the nine will agree with each other’s goals and objectives, and each has a unique story that can only be experienced once they fully trust you.  It’s up to you to decide which stories matter in the telling.

Explore a New Land of High Fantasy

Guide your character and their allies across the land of Tarlisalia. Make your way to the capital city of Jestril across a realm sundered during the Celestial War, traversable only via the Wynding Way.  Through wooded valleys, abandoned shrines, fetid swamps and more, the path forward will be blocked at every step.  Use your wits and your instincts to carve a path towards the truth.

Turn-Based Combat, Reimagined

The combat system is built upon proven TTRPG mechanics, and introduces a dynamic grid system for tactical positioning and targeting. Spells and abilities scale in level with your party, so no need to micro-manage resources powering up abilities. The combat system makes intelligent choices for reactive abilities, removing friction from the flow of combat. Select from several difficulty modes to customize the challenge, including Story Mode which nudges combat rolls in your favor in service of a more narrative-focused experience.

Go ahead, break your build

Your main character can harness the power of the Wyndstone by affixing gems known as Prismata.   Each of these stones is imbued with an ability, spell, or feature from spells, class features, or unique abilities, allowing you create a truly custom play experience.  The undead summoning paladin who can teleport is within your grasp!

Dice rolling, with a Twist

Use your character skills (or those of your party members) to search for clues, pick locks, discover lost histories.  Craft magical swords and jewelry, write spell scrolls, and brew potions.  With the dice rolling system active, use spells and magic items to earn Rerolls, and use the power of the Wyndstone to change fate.
