About This Game

Mycelium Conquest is a deep automation game where you control a living fungal organism crash-landed on the alien world of Xenoterris. Grow a sprawling mycelial network, build complex production chains, and evolve from a tiny spore into a powerful entity capable of consuming the planet.

Grow or Die

Start as a vulnerable nascent spore and consume alien creatures and local flora to gather biomass. Hunt, kill, and absorb everything in your path across 5 evolution stages -- from a fragile organism barely surviving to a cosmic entity that consumes worlds.

Build Living Infrastructure

Construct biological structures to process raw resources through multi-stage production chains. Decompose organic

matter, refine enzymes, and manage bottlenecks across sprawling factory complexes.

Automate Everything

Design production lines that transform basic resources into advanced materials. Optimize throughput, eliminate bottlenecks, and scale from a handful of structures to continental harvesting operations spanning vast distances.

Defend Your Network

Your growth attracts hostile alien creatures in escalating waves. Fight back with acidic spray attacks and build

defensive structures. The bigger your network, the bigger the threats.

As a solo developer, I utilized AI-assisted tools to help achieve a level of scope and visual polish that would otherwise be impossible for one person. While these tools provided a starting point, I manually refined and finalized every element to ensure a high-quality experience:

Art & 3D Models: AI-generated concept art and base meshes served as a foundation; these were then manually refined, rigged, skinned, animated and pre-rendered within Blender 3D.

Audio (Music & SFX): Initial compositions and sound effects were generated via AI, then manually edited, mixed, and mastered to fit the game's atmosphere.
Localization: AI was used to draft initial translations, which I then manually reviewed and corrected for context and accuracy as best as possible.

Code: AI tools acted as a coding assistant, helping me optimize logic and debug scripts to ensure a stable gameplay experience.
