About This Game

In MYRIORAMA, players control Ou, a sort of wandering handyman, to explore a charming world inspired by classic stop-motion animation. Using versatile magic abilities, players will guide Ou across a varied landscape full of unique characters that change in significant ways according to the progression of a dynamic story about loss, hopelessness, and supporting one another in the face of despair.

The player character, Ou, next to a fruit tree. The fruits are large and luscious, shaped like turnips but the color of Rainier cherries. There is a small grape hyacinth at the foot of the tree. Behind the player, a cliff gives way to a view of mountains and cotton ball clouds in the distance.

This Stop-Motion World is Your Oyster

Explore every nook and cranny of a massive diorama that channels the Rankin Bass Animagic films, the works of Piotr Kamler, and animé of the 80s and 90s. Low framerate animations will create the illusion of plastic toys moving around a vast playset.

The player character on a crumbling walkway above a mysterious void. Below, lights flicker beneath a shroud of mist. Ahead lies a strange gateway with red glowing figures on it. Are the figures kneeling in prayer or subjugation? It's hard to say. At either end of the gate sit two gold mission-style bells.

Rearrange! Rework! Reimagine!

Using a set of slick augmented reality goggles, players can rotate and rearrange dungeons rooms to solve puzzles. Each dungeon will work differently, so keep your thinking cap on!

Unlock the Power of Sight

Ou's goggles can also send Commands to swarms of nanites, granting fantastic, spell-like  abilities. Find and install Commands to—

  • light objects or enemies on fire

  • freeze objects or enemies

  • push or pull objects and enemies

  • push or pull yourself toward/away from objects and enemies

  • shine a light in the dark

  • absorb light to create a shadow to hide in

—and more!

Rich Lore & Complex Characters

Get to know a motley crew of outsiders living in a strange land. Progressing through the game to learn more about not only Ou's neighbors but the mysterious “ancients” hidden deep beneath the surface of the world. What unfathomable secrets do their arcane techno-caverns hold? How did the world Ou inhabits come to be? These questions shape the narrative of MYRIORAMA, a game that asks what happens when there is no hero to stop the sky from falling.
