About This Game

Every step costs you something. A lich's curse has shattered your soul across a world of fog and ruin, and the body you're given to walk it - whole, equipped, and already starting to fail - won't last. With every movement, you choose what to give up: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma. One point at a time, with every tile you cross, you grow weaker. Let your Constitution fail and you will die. Let the others fade and your options narrow with them. Find the lich that has cursed you and defeat them before it's too late.

You start each life equipped and strong on a procedurally generated map - a new world every run. Except, of course, for the Daily Run mode, where the whole world plays the same map from the same start. Spawn at a Church, rest up at an Inn to regain your health, gear up at a Merchant, and crack open Chests for gold, Soul Shards, or a piece of gear. Engage with the enemy and combat resolves automatically - your equipment versus the enemy's abilities.

Six classes - Archer, Knight, Heavy Knight, Mounted Knight, Samurai, and Wizard - set your starting stats. 400+ potential pieces of equipment span Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary for your use. Weapons, shields, armor, accessories, and consumables define your equipment, with an inventory shaped by your available Strength and Constitution. Shape your build as you go to fit your changing capabilities. Dying does not end your run: your soul finds a new body, losing only your gold, inventory, and equipment, but retaining your knowledge and slain enemies.

Somewhere on the map, the lich is waiting. Reach its castle, fight it, and try to end the curse before your choices end you. Collect Soul Shards toward permanent unlocks between runs. Take on the Daily Run starting every midnight UTC, your score on the Steam Leaderboards riding on how much damage you can land on the lich in the fewest moves possible.
