Why Early Access?

“Our game is currently early access as we continue to add content to the game. We would like to start collecting player feedback to help drive the creation of more enemies and maps.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for this game to be in Early Access for one year while new maps and levels are being produced. Projected completion date Q2 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more content - mainly more weapons, enemies, levels, and bosses.
The goal is to have refined combat, refined animations, adding more regions to explore, and adding an inventory system by the full release date.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game is considered to be in Alpha, where it is feature complete. All of the base mechanics have been implemented. We currently have 4 areas in the game, 3 weapons, and two enemy types. We have a boss fight, overworld map and procedurally generated dungeons close to being implemented (look for those in a few weeks).

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan on raising the price as we ship new content and features. However, the price will likely be raised once it is ready for full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve the community throughout Early Access by using player feedback to shape the direction and refinement of combat and levels. Players will be able to share feedback through community discussions and direct engagement with the development team. We will closely monitor this feedback to identify areas for improvement, including gameplay balance, difficulty tuning, AI behavior, and overall player experience. Community feedback will directly influence updates, helping us prioritize new levels, weapons, and enemies, and address issues that impact immersion and enjoyment

About This Game

Gothic Blood is a top-down action adventure game with Souls and MOBA-inspired combat. Explore a gritty gothic fantasy world as a reaper and fight your way through dangerous locations to progress.

Play through 4 different levels and fight 2 types of enemies, Brutes and Ogres. Find up to 3 different weapons and collect fire bombs and health potions to help you fight enemies. Collect the skull key to enter the castle and beat the game!

This game contains depictions of violence, including stylized combat and enemy acting aggressively toward the player, including chasing and attacking. All visuals are non-photorealistic 3D and presented in a stylized manner. There is no depiction of sexual content, self-harm, or substance abuse.
