What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Game Demon is an AI coaching platform that gets better with real player feedback. Every rated coaching call helps us tune better coaching models, and every match played surfaces new scenarios the coach needs to handle well.

We're releasing in Early Access because the honest way to build this product is with real players using it in real matches. The alternative — developing privately until we think it's perfect — means launching a coach that has never met the communities it's meant to help. We'd rather ship a strong starting point, listen to what players actually need, and grow the product alongside its users.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We plan to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. During that time we plan to expand to additional supported games, ship additional fine-tuned coaching models, deepen coaching coverage, and refine the experience based on community feedback. We plan to leave Early Access when the coaching platform feels polished and consistent across multiple supported games, rather than actively evolving week to week.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Game Demon meaningfully during Early Access:

- Additional supported games beyond Counter-Strike 2, released as game packs
- Additional fine-tuned persona models, trained on feedback data from real matches
- Deeper coaching coverage, including positional analysis, peek timing, rotation reads, and post-plant hold coaching
- Expanded visual coach capabilities across more in-game scenarios
- Cross-session analytics and progress tracking for Pro users
- Tighter latency on live during-match coaching
- Continued refinement of each coaching persona's voice and tactical understanding
- Community-contributed reference material to expand what the coach draws from

We plan to leave Early Access when the coaching experience feels consistently strong across all supported games and personas. The core experience players get at launch — live during-match coaching, four distinct personas, post-match analysis — will remain the foundation.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access launch is a fully playable AI coaching platform for Counter-Strike 2. Currently available:

- Live between-round coaching via Game State Integration
- Real-time callouts during matches
- Visual screen analysis for positioning, crosshair placement, and peek decisions
- Post-match demo parsing with coach chat grounded in real gameplay data
- Four distinct coaching personas: the Analyst, the Demon, the Veteran, and the Savant
- A custom fine-tuned model for the Demon persona, available as a one-command install
- Match history, session tracking, and coach rating system
- Local model support via Ollama, plus cloud inference for faster responses
- A token economy for cloud usage, with a generous free monthly tier

The coach answers questions about your matches with grounded evidence from your actual gameplay, rather than generic advice. Coaching quality varies by scenario — some paths are stronger than others today, and we're actively iterating on all of them based on real match data and community feedback.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship additional supported games, new fine-tuned coaching models, and expanded coaching coverage. Players who purchase during Early Access will own every improvement we ship to the base coach, at the price they paid.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is central to how Game Demon improves:

- Every coaching call can be rated thumbs up or down. Positive ratings help us tune better coaching models; negative ratings help us identify where coaching falls short and what to improve.
- We run an active Discord community where players share coaching moments, discuss which personas work for different playstyles, and surface what's missing.
- Feature priorities are shaped by what the community actually asks for. Players pointing out gaps in the coaching have direct influence on what ships next.
- Tester access for new game packs and experimental coaching features goes to community members first.
- Long-term, coaching reference material is a collaborative project — the tactical knowledge the coach draws from grows with community contributions.”

About This Software

Game Demon is an AI coach that talks to you during your matches. Not a post-match dashboard. Not a stat tracker. A coach — running live on your desktop, reading your game state as it happens, analyzing what you see on screen, and calling out what matters as you play.

Between rounds, it reviews what just happened and tells you what to do next. In freezetime, it flags bad buys and unused utility. During the action, it surfaces low-latency callouts. After the match, it's already parsed your demo and ready to talk.

Unlike stat dashboards, Game Demon answers questions. Ask it anything. "Why did I lose that fight?" "Was the aggressive push a mistake?" "What should I have done differently?" It cites exact moments from your match, references strong play patterns, and responds with specifics — not with a scoreboard.

Four personas. One truth.

- The Analyst — cold, measured, statistical. Entry timings, trade windows, efficiency.

- The Demon — hostile. Will call you a coward when you play like one.

- The Veteran — old-school. Everything was harder in his day.

- The Savant — cerebral. Talks about your aim in probability distributions.

Switch between them freely — per match, mid-session, round to round.

Your data, your machine.

The LLM backbone runs on your own GPU through Ollama (local, private, free) or on the cloud for faster responses and zero setup. A custom fine-tuned 8B model is available as a one-command install for the sharpest in-persona calls. Match data, recordings, and feedback stay on your machine unless you explicitly opt in to share coach ratings for tuning.

Why it's different.

Existing tools show you a dashboard. Game Demon talks to you, cites the evidence, and gets better the more you use it. The coach is a character, not a chatbot — and the coaching is grounded in real data, not vibes.

Supported games.

Game Demon launches with full support for Counter-Strike 2:

- Live between-round coaching via Game State Integration

- Real-time callouts during the action

- Visual screen analysis for positioning, crosshair placement, and peek decisions

- Post-match coach chat grounded in parsed demo data

- Four personas, persona-consistent across all coaching paths

Additional titles roll out as game packs over time.

Built by Altros Studios. No ads. No telemetry by default. The core coach works with no subscription. Pro subscription is optional and unlocks cloud inference and priority model access.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Game Demon uses large language models (Llama 3.1/3.3 via Groq API, plus optional local Ollama inference) to generate coaching text in real time from the user's match data. Vision models analyze user-sampled frames. No user content is sent to third parties without explicit opt-in. No generative images or audio in final output.
