ASHEN is a top-down pixel art action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where the sun itself became humanity's executioner.

The Cinder — that's what they call it. A solar catastrophe that shattered continents, scorched the forests and ground entire civilizations into dust. What remains of the world now drifts in fragments through the sky: islands kept alive by mysterious crystals known as Hearthstones.

You are an Awakened. Partially touched by the Cinder, you carry something others don't — a spark, a curse, or perhaps both. On the island of Braseval, you come to in a village of survivors who are barely holding on.

And somewhere, at the heart of the broken world, the Cinder is still spreading.

Ashen is in Early Access. The initial content covers the island of Braseval up to level 20, with additional content planned regularly.
