About This Game

Burnt Out is a chain-reaction roguelike set in a corporate fever dream. Smash a keycap, watch the combo cascade across the hex grid, and build a broken enough loadout to dismantle the org chart, before the company terminates you.

CHAIN-REACTION COMBAT
Every keycap is a puzzle piece: line up the arrows and a single tap clears half the board. Hit quota to survive the round, and protect your Boundary, because the workforce is pushing back every turn.


EVERY BOSS IS SOMEONE YOU'VE WORKED WITH
Out-combo The Intern. Survive the NepoBabies. Endure The IT Guy. Each boss plays the grid against you with its own dirty techniques. Beat them, loot a permanent power-up, and climb to the next rung of the org chart.

BUILD SOMETHING BROKEN
Spend your salary on upgrades that stack into something the shareholders would not approve: extra turns, chain relays, exponential score triggers. Fail, and you're terminated: permadeath, new run, new build.
