About This Game

A NEW SPIN ON CLASSIC 4X GAMEPLAY

DeckTerra is a 4X Deckbuilder where your empire is only as strong as your deck. The game is afresh take on classic 4X strategy, where the deck you build shapes the empire you create.

Forge your path through history as you create an empire to last the ages:

🏰 City Placement Matters - Find an ideal place to start your empire, near plenty of resources you can exploit. and a source of fresh water.

🧪 Discover New Technology - Work your way through the ages as you research new technology to help your empire expand and bolster your military.

🙏 Appease the Gods - Make religious devotions to one of four dieties. Spend your faith points to gain their favour and unlock powerful buffs.

💰 Develop a Trade Network - Other players can make you rich. Send off traders to create paths and develop relationships with neighbouring kingdoms.

BUILD A KINGDOM, ONE CARD AT A TIME

The cards you acquire shape the kingdom you create. Expand across the map, research new technologies, construct buildings, raise armies, and outmaneuver rival kingdoms.

⚗️ Got some sweet science cards?  - Place down Science buildings to complement them!

🧑‍🌾 Grabbed too many labor cards? - Build more cities to increase your resource output!

⚔️ Have a bunch of attack cards? - Bolster your armies to take advantage of them!

CHOOSE YOUR PATH TO POWER

Will you focus on Science, Religion, Growth, Trade, or Military?

Multiple paths to victory await. Each with it's own specific conditions.

⚗️ Science Victory - Develop all technologies in the tech tree.

⚔️ Combat Victory - Control all cities on the map at once.

⛪ Religious Victory - Be the first to fulfill three religious prophecies sent down from the gods.

NO TWO KINGDOMS ARE ALIKE

Each game you will be offered different cards, and you'll need to adapt your strategy accordingly.

Murray Smith is a solo game developer from Toronto, Canada. He is interested in new genres and experimental game ideas, and hopes to explore experimental genres in simulation and strategy games.
