We're building Caeldovar around what we loved about early MMOs: earning your levels, finding gear worth keeping, and getting to know the people you play with. It brings that old-school feel together with modern controls, weapon abilities, and quality-of-life features, keeping progression and community at the heart of the game.

Explore grasslands, forests, deserts, snowy regions, jungles, and the Firelands. Different areas offer monsters and resources for overlapping level ranges, giving you choices about where to train and gather.

Towns have their own shops, workshops, and reasons to visit. Discover mounts, sail between ports, and use player-created city portals as your travel options grow. A shared day-and-night cycle changes the atmosphere—and some of the creatures you encounter.

Develop Melee, Magic, and Archery on the same character. Your equipped weapon determines your abilities, while shields add defensive options. Switch equipment to explore different ways to fight, from close-range pressure and ranged attacks to healing, control, and summons.

Train the skills that support your chosen equipment, then put them to work through positioning, ability timing, and resource management. Hunt creature-themed gear, collect distinctive capes, combine matching armor sets, and improve weapons, armor, and jewelry with upgrade materials. Food, potions, and Spirit blessings give you more ways to prepare for a difficult fight.

Take on quests, repeatable daily challenges, wilderness creatures, and shared dungeons where other adventurers can cross your path. Push into tougher chambers and face bosses with their own attacks, ground warnings, and dangerous casts.

Bring damage, protection, and support together: hold an enemy’s attention, interrupt a dangerous ability, or keep an ally standing. Preparation matters outside battlegrounds, where death can cost carried items—bank your valuables before a risky trip.

Battlegrounds: compete without risking your normal equipment. Fight in Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, or Hard Point, with team matches and separate 1v1 formats. Loaned equipment and equalized skills put the focus on the match. Earn Battleground Points and exchange them for Scrolls of Battle to advance a skill.

Open-world PvP: opt in to full-loot fights. Both players must have PvP enabled. Change your setting near a bank while out of combat, then venture beyond protected areas. A PvP death drops your carried and equipped items, including collection-bag contents; banked items and trained skills remain yours.

Stay with your party for friendly-fire protection, plan your route, and decide what you’re willing to carry into a fight.

Develop Woodworking, Metalworking, Herbalism, Alchemy, Hunting, Fishing, and Cooking. Gather across the world, bring materials to the right workstation, and turn them into equipment, tools, furniture, bags, meals, and potions.

Gathering and production are connected: cutting wood and working it both train Woodworking; mining, smelting, and smithing build Metalworking. Follow a favorite profession or develop the whole supply chain. Collection bags can automatically gather matching resources and loot into their stored stacks, helping you make more of each trip.

Collect higher quality resources to produce a higher quality weapon or armor. Further improve your equipment through upgrading which is only capable by a skilled artisan.


Demon Invasions open portals in the wilderness, bringing escalating waves and a Demon Lord to confront. Join other players, contribute through combat or healing, and earn personal rewards—including equipment found through these events.

Wandering Caravans offer another kind of shared task. Donate requested resources, talk to travelers for clues, and recover missing supplies. Contributions help the same camp prepare, while eligible participants claim their own rewards.

Buy supplies from town merchants or set your own prices at the Auction House. Search for equipment and materials, sell your surplus, and keep listings available while you’re offline. Sale proceeds go to your bank.

For a riskier route, package gathered resources into cargo and deliver it between towns for gold and Vanguard. Cargo runs require PvP to stay enabled, and your crate can be lost on death. Compare destinations, organize protection, and make the journey on foot or along supported sea routes.

Claim a home, manor, or castle plot and shape its building and furnishings. Arrange walls, doors, floors, and furniture; larger properties support upper stories. Add useful facilities such as cooking equipment, crafting stations, banks, and a mailbox for messages and gifts.

Your home stays in the world while you’re offline. Choose who can visit—friends, party members, guildmates, or other players—and let permitted guests use its available facilities. Bind your own bed as a respawn point, or turn the property into a place for your guild to gather.

Form parties of up to eight, keep in touch through friends lists and chat, and build a guild with ranks and shared storage. Design a guild flag, wear matching guild capes, and bring that identity into your home’s furnishings.

There is room for quieter moments, too. Play instruments that nearby players can hear, gather for an informal performance, trade emotes, or sit together between adventures. A familiar face in town can become tomorrow’s dungeon companion.
