About This Demo

LOGISTICS IS WAR.

It is 1983. The Video Game Crash is wiping out the weak.
You are not here to play games—you are here to sell them.

Arcade Warlord is a Grand Strategy Tycoon where business is combat.
In the full game, you will build an empire from scratch.
But in this exclusive Demo Scenario, you are starting at the top of a burning skyscraper.

DEMO SCENARIO: THE FALL OF UBIBROS MAPWORKS

  • You have been hired as the crisis manager for Ubibros Mapworks, a historically dominant arcade manufacturer on the brink of bankruptcy.

  • Their ousted founders just spent millions developing The Mariner’s Compass—a 600-pound cabinet that requires players to climb a physical step-ladder just to watch an unskippable LaserDisc documentary about 18th-century trade routes.

  • The kids hate it. The physical cabinets are so heavy they are snapping the axles of your delivery fleet. You have money in the bank, but your operational bloat is bleeding you dry.

  • Your orders are absolute: Purge the corporate bloat, scrap the broken cabinets, fix the truck fleet, and lock a team in the basement to build a game with a single jump button.

THE FINANCIAL LEDGER

Operate a deeply simulated, double-entry financial ledger where your bank account is your ammunition.

  • Stop the Bleeding: You have massive cash reserves (CapEx) but a catastrophic weekly burn rate (OpEx). Track every dollar, fire the dead weight, and liquidate useless assets before the money runs out.

  • The Bagman Loop: Revenue is physical. A cabinet making money across town is a liability until a Bagman collects the quarters and deposits them at HQ.

CONQUER THE GRID

The city is divided into territories. In the Demo, you must reclaim your lost glory.

  • Logistics Networks: Design the supply chain. Sell off the luxury executive cars and buy reliable box trucks. Optimize routes for your fleet to deploy new machines and pull the broken Mariner cabinets off the streets.

  • Cutthroat Negotiation: Send your field agents into the district to break terrible leases and secure prime real estate for your new software.

PERSONNEL IS POWER (THE PURGE)

Forget generic workers. Your company is built on the backs of unique Agents with 1-20 stat blocks and distinct personalities.

  • Mass Layoffs: Ubibros is bloated with high-salary "Vice Presidents of Cabinet Lore" who don't know how to code. Open the ledger and fire them.

  • Dynamic Skill Sets: Hire high-skill programmers to fix the software pipeline, or strong-arm Negotiators to bully landlords. Watch your Agents move through the city in real-time to execute your orders.

BUILD THE TOWER (DEMO SNEAK PEEK)

Your Headquarters is a puzzle of efficiency.

  • The R&D Pipeline: Clear out the useless executives on the starting floors and build a functional studio. Don't just buy games—invent them. Assign your surviving programmers to research, develop, and release the hit 8-bit title that saves the company.

The Golden Age is waiting. Insert Coin. Save the Empire.
