Why Early Access?

“As a head-to-head battle arena game, multiplayer is a critical component to our game's success and the with growing a community. By providing early access we can increase the number of available matches to players making it easier for them to understand the game, the varying play styles and our original vision for the experience. We also want to be able to continue to craft and mold our game into a game that our community wants to play and so by releasing in early access first we have the opportunity to incorporate player feedback, resolve bugs and make design changes to make the game experience the best possible at full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are anticipating providing players with early access at least 1-2 months, however this will be dependent on how our community feels about it. We'll release when it’s ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The experience will be much more polished and stable. New content, new features, new maps, new visual effects, improved UI, better balance to gameplay and our economy. Player feedback is important to to us and is used to help us guide the game experience, features and model.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“One Tower is fully playable, however some aspects of the game have user interface and user experience flaws while we continue to improve upon them. Additionally, gameplay continues to be balanced and bugs resolved.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“One Tower is free-to-play, however there may be modifications to micro-transaction options provided based on player feedback. Additional services and options may be provided during and after Early Access however any purchases made during Early Access will remain with the player during and after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players will be interacting with our development team in a number of ways, including during Twitch live streams, on the Steam Community hubs, Facebook and Twitter. We welcome player feedback on functionality in the game, design choices, game economy, bugs experience as we add additional features and content.”
