About This Game

Hi!

Have you ever heard of a bar crawl? Well this is like that, but with soup.

In Soup Crawl, you play as a spirit named Sue who has a singular, all encompassing passion for SOUP. On your quest to try new soups you solve grid based movement puzzles while using magic soups to jump, transform, destroy, and slide your way to victory. When each soup dries up, you stack the bowl on your head as a souvenir, granting you a passive ability that you'll have until the end of the run.

Soup Crawl is a passion project that attempts to explore 2 main dynamics:

1) To create a game that is a true mix of the grid-based puzzle and roguelike genres.

2) To create a game where your main resource is limited-use consumables that get strategically converted into permanent passive abilities once they're used up.
