《Herbal Richman》 is a local turn-based board game built around traditional herbal culture, dice movement, Town management, Card attacks and counters, and unpredictable events.

Travel across the Ming Dynasty Map, buy and upgrade Towns, manage Authentic Herbs, trade in the Black Market, use the Bank, and respond to Gazette and Destiny events. Build Total Assets and Honor while competing to become the most successful herbal-industry tycoon.

About This Game

This is not only a game about buying land and collecting rent. Towns are connected by Province, and Province-based strategy can completely change the board.

A Price Hike Card can double the rent of Towns across an entire Province. A Calamity Card can bring the same Province back down to a low level. Opportunity may reward you with Cards or Herbs, while Destiny selects targets based on player status and applies rewards or penalties.

Every turn can shift the balance between money, land, Herbs, Honor, and player relationships.

  Use Cards such as Price Hike Card, Seizure Card, Masterwork Card, Calamity Card, Remote Control Dice Card, Immunity Card, Frame-up Transfer Card, and Revenge Card.

- Cash, Deposit, Loan, and Honor economy

  Income can enter Cash or Deposit depending on the starting rule. Deposit earns interest, while Loan blocks interest. Honor also matters in timed games.

- Local multiplayer and AI fill

  Play with local players, or let AI characters fill empty seats. AI can buy, upgrade, use Cards, join auctions, and make decisions based on hatred values.

Gameplay Loop

• Choose the Map, Number of Players, Initial Capital, Movement Mode, income account, Land Term, time limit, Victory Condition, and characters.

• Roll dice to move. Walk uses 1 die, Ride Donkey can use up to 2 dice, and Ride Horse can use up to 3 dice.

• Buy unowned Towns, upgrade your own Towns, or pay rent when landing on another player's Town.

• Use Cards to move, attack, defend, disrupt Province income, or change the state of players and Towns.

• Trade Cards and Herbs in the Black Market, manage money through the Bank, and react to Gazette, Destiny, and Opportunity events.

• Accumulate Total Assets and Honor, avoid Bankruptcy, and aim for the chosen Victory Condition.
  

 Victory Conditions

Victory Condition can be set to Infinite, or to an asset target based on 3x, 5x, 10x, 50x, or 100x Initial Capital.

Timed games are ranked by total score:

Cash + Deposit - Loan + Honor x 1000 x Price Index

If only one non-Bankrupt player remains, that player wins. If human players are all Bankrupt, the remaining AI with the highest total score wins.

Strategy

Beginners should focus on three things:

- Same-Province linked rent is powerful. Scattered purchases are usually weaker than focused Province management.

- Cash and Deposit are different. Deposit earns interest, but some purchases require Cash.

- Card range matters. Many powerful Cards cannot hit targets at any distance.

Advanced players can manage Province tempo around Price Hike, Seizure, Masterwork, and Calamity. Use Price Hike and Masterwork to expand your own Province income, or use Seizure, Calamity, and Demotion to suppress an opponent's Province.

Against negative Cards, Immunity Card, Frame-up Transfer Card, and Revenge Card are key defenses, but inventory slots are limited.
