Why Early Access?

“The game is in early access due to not being at its potential. The game currently has a very thorough buildcrafting player-focused system, but is in early access due to not having enough content and mechanics that are map-focused. I intend to see this project as completed as I can and beyond, and I plan to release content updates generally regularly. Player feedback is highly valued and will significantly contribute to new features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until the game is polished and feels complete. Updates will come out regularly to work towards this goal. Gunman will be taken out of early access when it feels like a true dungeon crawler. This process should take around 6 months. Updates will still continue to come out for content afterwards.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Once the game is out of early access, there should be much more content for game setup and room types. As of now and throughout early access, most of the content is buildcrafting-focused. The full version will include multiple maps, challenges, advancements, and ways to unlock buffs from these maps.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Build crafting and combat mechanics are functional. Rooms do not currently save and do not differ based on direction. Game is relatively game-crashing bug free, but please do report inconsistencies and issues.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will cost the same after early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Please send me any and all requests for content, ideas, mechanics, as well as issues faced via the steam issues pages and forum. I will try my best to stay up-to-date on the what you all want and add it if it's a good concept. I intend to add mods via Steam workshop in the future, so you will be able to add your own content, regardless of my own balance choices. ”

About This Game

Ever wanted to clear rooms of spiders in a single shot? Yes? That's what we like to hear! If you love buildcrafting, roguelites, zombies gamemodes, and destroying swarms of enemies, this game is for you. Gunman puts a twist on the standard roguelite where rather than getting stronger via raw upgrades, you must be smart about what you choose to find what benefits you the most.

Collect!

Clear waves to find boxes, unlocking new parts, infusions, and upgrading what you have.

Build!

Use your parts to form powerful combinations of dozens of barrels, bases, powers, and cores.

Fight!

Test your strength against the horde of enemies!
