About This Demo

The Last Mothership is a short sci-fi incremental game where you play as a mothership, the last of her kind. Rebuild your species one world at a time.

In this demo, you’ll play through the first of four planets, with 2-3 hours of gameplay. Build your starting fleet, unlock automation, and evolve your species as you experience the core systems and progression the full game will expand upon.

Grow your fleet

Discover the first few ship types, each with its own role in growing and automating your fleet.

Mine your first planet

Click the planet to mine resources. Unlock “Iron Fang” and spawn mining vessels that automatically mine the planet’s surface with laser drills.

Collect resources

Click the Orb to gather accumulated resources. Unlock “Orb Weaver” and deploy collector vessels to automatically beam resources back to the mothership.

Evolve your species

Enter the mind of the mothership to evolve your species. Evolving resets your progress, but unlocks permanent upgrades and abilities that make your species stronger with each evolution.
