Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect VIENKIEMIS to be in Early Access for roughly 4 to 6 months. This timeframe will allow us to gather community feedback, polish the core gameplay systems, and ensure that the final 1.0 release is as stable and fun as possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will offer a much deeper and more 'alive' world compared to the Early Access release. Our primary focus for the 1.0 version is to significantly expand the content and variety available to the player.

Key planned differences include:

Expanded Questlines: We plan to add a vast array of side quests and a fully completed main storyline that will take players into new territories.

More NPCs: The world will be populated with many more unique NPCs, featuring their own backstories, trading options, and interactive dialogue.

Item Variety: We intend to significantly increase the loot pool, including new weapon tiers, armor sets, and craftable items to allow for more diverse playstyles.

New Regions: We are working on unlocking additional map areas that are currently under development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay loop is fully functional and ready to play. Currently, the game features a stable online multiplayer experience where you can team up with friends or meet other players.

The following features are already implemented and playable:

Core Survival Mechanics: Hunger, thirst, and environmental hazards are fully integrated.

Resource Gathering: A robust system for harvesting materials and crafting essential tools.

Combat: Various monster types are present in the world, providing a challenging combat experience.

Multiplayer Infrastructure: Servers are live and optimized for a smooth online session.

While the game is already 'fun to play,' it currently represents the foundation of what we want to achieve. We consider the systems stable, but we now need to focus on expanding the variety of content to fill the world.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not have any plans to increase the price of the game when we transition from Early Access to the full release. We want to ensure that our early supporters and those who join us later pay the same fair price for the experience. Any additional content, quests, and items added during the development process will be included for all players without an increase in the base cost”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“ommunity involvement is already at the heart of our development. We have an active Discord server with over 800 members who are already collaborating with us, providing feedback, and reporting bugs.
