About This Game

The Celestial Kingdom has fallen. A grief-shattered priest has torn the veil between the living and spirit realms,
and darkness is spreading. Chosen by the ancient spirit Ignifae, Kana must reforge a broken staff, cross a
shattered world, and purify seven lanterns holding the trapped souls of a kingdom that no longer exists.

The Path of Kana is for players who grew up in the golden age of top-down adventure games,
and want a story-rich, immersive action-adventure to match. It's also for the randomizer
community that wants a more convenient experience outside of ROM hacks.
Now it's built in from the start.

What you find isn't just for battle. Every item opens something up. A door, a path, a puzzle
you couldn't solve before. Progress isn't about getting stronger; it's about getting more capable.

Every temple is its own puzzle box, designed for a distinct atmosphere, distinct mechanics,
and secrets that reward you for solving them.
