About This Game

Every person you choose leaves someone else behind.

After waking from an unsettling dream, high school student Kanata Tanaka begins to notice small fractures in his ordinary life.

The same classroom.

The same family.

The same friends.

The same familiar town.

Everything looks the way it always has—yet something feels wrong.

And at the center of it all is an old book.

TOKIORIKI is a psychological mystery visual novel about spending limited time, building relationships, and living with the possibilities you leave behind.

Your afternoons are limited

Each afternoon gives you only a limited number of Action Points.

Meet a friend.

Visit the library.

Explore the town.

Go straight home.

The time you spend with someone may bring you closer.

But every person you choose is someone else you may not get to see.

The story changes not only through what you do, but also through the moments you allow to pass.

Some choices will not wait

At critical moments, Shadow Choices will appear.

Choose.

Refuse.

Or hesitate until the opportunity disappears.

These decisions will not wait forever.

Even choosing nothing can leave a lasting consequence.

Discover who they are outside the classroom

Explore the school and town to encounter different characters, conversations, and small events.

Casual conversations.

Unexpected detours.

Messages exchanged through LIME.

Behind ordinary words and familiar faces are feelings the characters never reveal in class.

A diary that remembers your choices

At the end of each day, Kanata records what happened in his diary.

Who he met.

What he felt.

Which decisions he made.

What you chose—and what you left behind—will remain in Kanata’s own words.

There is no single perfect ending

You cannot spend the same amount of time with everyone.

You cannot witness every event in a single playthrough.

Whom you meet, what you discover, and what you fail to notice will change Kanata’s relationships and lead the story toward different endings.

Who did you choose?

What did you gain?

What did you leave behind?

Those choices become your version of TOKIORIKI.
