A Rummy roguelike where the rules are a bit... funny

Funny Rummy is a roguelike deckbuilder built on rummy. Draft cards, arrange your hand into the best configuration you can manage, and score enough to survive the round. Play runs, sets, flushes, and a few hidden combinations you'll have to play to find. You only get one round to discard, so make it count.

One High-Stakes Hand, Many Possible Combinations

In Funny Rummy, you only have one hand to beat the goal score on a given level. You build your hand over a series of drafts and group cards into 3-card "melds" that offer different scoring multipliers. You'll find the game quick to learn, but difficult to master as there are many possibilities for a single hand. Seemingly small choices add up to determine your outcome in this game. 

Visit the Junk Drawer between rounds
Between rounds, you'll find yourself at the Junk Drawer. Add cards to your deck, cut the ones you don't need, and pick up items that change how the whole table plays. Junk Drawer items include:

• Passive table items that shift your scoring multipliers toward specific meld types and open up new strategies. 

• Wild cards with individual powers that make forming melds easier and introduce a secondary layer of decisions around when and how to use then.

• "Sub-suit" cards that give each suit its own identity and style of play through discovery.

• Four drafts per round to build your hand, with a single round to discard. 

• Peek the deck and use the discard pile to weigh the odds when drafting cards.

• Deck management between every round. View your full deck, add cards, remove cards, adjust your table items.

• Add table items, wild cards, and sub-suit cards that combine in synergistic ways

• Begin with a 40-card deck and 12-card hand limit to start. 

• Escalating score targets with "infinite mode" for high scores.
