Why Early Access?

“Runeveil: Idle PvP is an ambitious idle RPG whose core gameplay: combat, progression, skill tree, crafting and asynchronous PvP is already playable and stable. We are moving into early access because a game of this type lives on its community: balancing builds, tuning PvP leagues, adjusting progression curves and adding content require real feedback from players over time. Your feedback will help us decide which zones, item classes, sets and mechanics to develop first, and refine PvP balancing with data from real duels. It is this players/developer loop that will shape the final version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate an early access period of approximately 2-4 months. This duration may change depending on community feedback, the pace of content addition and balancing needs. We prefer to take the time necessary to deliver a polished version 1.0 rather than setting a rigid date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Version 1.0 of Runeveil will aim to expand and deepen the experience offered at launch. We plan to work on several axes:

• Content: new areas, dungeons, bosses, monsters and unlockable items
• Progression: skill tree expansions and new legendary sets
• PvP: additional leagues, seasons, exclusive rewards and balance refinements
• Craft & economy: new recipes, resources and improvement mechanics
• Quality of life: optimizations, accessibility options and interface adjustments based on feedback
• Additional locations depending on game reception

The final scope will depend directly on community feedback and priorities that emerge during Early Access. No future features are guaranteed at this time.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Runeveil: Idle PvP is fully playable from start to finish in the current progression. The Early Access version includes:

• Real-time idle combat with stats, crits, dodges and offline progression
• World map with zones, dungeons and bestiary
• Complete skill tree with free respec
• Inventory, equipment and crafting in town with recipes and NPC crafters
• Set system with tier bonuses
• Functional asynchronous PvP: duels on snapshots, trophies, leagues and global rankings
• Achievements, bestiary and item collection
• Multi-characters with cloud save
• Windows support (macOS planned)

The game is stable and balanced to provide a complete experience right now. Adjustments and additional content will continue to be added regularly based on community feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Runeveil: Idle PvP is and will remain free-to-play. The business model will not change between early access and the final version: no introductory price, no progression paywall, and no essential content will be removed or moved behind a purchase when moving to version 1.0.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is at the heart of the development of Runeveil. We plan to collaborate with players in several ways:

• Steam Forums: open discussions for feedback, suggestions and bug reports, with regular monitoring from the team
• Public roadmap updated with each release to share our priorities
• Detailed patch notes with each patch to explain the changes and why
• One-off surveys and votes to guide certain content or balancing decisions
• PvP balancing driven by data from real duels and arena feedback
• Direct exchanges with the most invested players to test experimental mechanics
