We want to embark on this journey with our community to refine the mechanics and ultimately take the game to a much better level.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our plan is to release the full version within 6 months. This timeframe is set to incorporate all initially planned features and to enhance the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“While the Early Access version features the core gameplay loop trading, haggling, blacksmithing, and alchemy; we plan to expand the game significantly. The full version is planned to include more shop upgrades, an expanded research tree, completely new customer types, deeper world events, and additional layers to the dynamic economy based on player suggestions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable with its core mechanics in place. You can manage your shop, negotiate with customers, upgrade items at the blacksmith, apply elemental enchantments, hire guards to stop thieves, and navigate a dynamic economy affected by world events. It offers a solid, replayable merchant experience right now”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price for the full version to reflect the added mechanics, content, and improvements. However, to thank our initial supporters, we will keep the price more affordable during the Early Access period. We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us!”

Welcome to Trader's Life! Step into the shoes of an ambitious shopkeeper in a bustling medieval fantasy world. Take charge of your very own trading post, manage your resources, and make shrewd business decisions. Buy low, negotiate with customers, and upgrade your wares to rise from a simple peddler to the most renowned merchant in the realm!

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Negotiation: Engage in a deep haggling system. Read your customers, accept offers, or push for higher prices. Be careful, pushing too hard will lower your shop's popularity!

  • Blacksmith Upgrades: Use your hard-earned materials to improve weapons and armor, increasing their rarity and overall market value.

  • Elemental Enchantments: Apply Fire, Ice, and Lightning magic directly to your items to create powerful, highly profitable set bonuses.
