About This Game

The Fifth Bell is a story-driven 2D point-and-click adventure set across Europe in the 1990s.

It begins with a cassette hidden inside Strasbourg Cathedral. A historian is gone, and a recorded warning remains: Don't let them ring the fifth bell.

Archival consultant Evan Marek only came to ask a few questions. Soon he is following the trail from city to city, with an unlikely partner at his side, through bell towers, bookshops, train stations and private archives. Somewhere between the old legends and the people who keep them alive lies a secret someone is determined to keep buried.

Explore richly illustrated locations, talk to the people who were there, repair old tape machines, compare recordings and piece the truth together one clue at a time. Every puzzle belongs to the story, and every answer takes you a step further.

Along the way you'll meet a cast of unusual characters, each with their own quirks and stories, and plenty of warm, quiet humor between the mysteries.
