Why Early Access?

“We want to involve players early, to implement feedback. We ourselves love the premium model as seen by our previous title. But this time we want to build something with you, our players. The smaller scope of the project allows us to listen to our community. And that's why Early Access is the right choice for NightFang.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to release into Early Access March, 2027 and be done later that year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our ambition is that the full game should feature all maps and the full narrative. While EA will be more limited, while we work and gather feedback. In terms of features, we plan to have a boss and a recruitable mid-boss for each level, alongside some powerups you can have as alternate firing modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Game is currently in early prototype stages. There is a single level, a midboss without the possebility of recruiting it yet. A boss. And an alt-fire mode.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“For NightFang we plan to raise the price as we move from EA into the full release. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We would love nothing less than to involve our players at each step. To ensure it's as fun and engaging as possible. While staying true to our vision. We would primarily be taking feedback through our Discord. They will be able to provide us with understanding in terms of engagement with the game and how features and their variations play into them.”
