About This Demo

A vibrant ballet of screen shattering violence

Play as VECTORLORD, a malware insurgent awakened from slumber, in this pulse pounding bullet heaven hybrid. Explore a decaying interconnected world as you build your primary character, unlocking roguelite sandbox arenas along the way: dedicated arena rooms where any build is possible

Action is designed to be fluid, fast and frictionless, with diverse mobility and movement options allowing you to execute your vengeance against hostile processes with precision while moving effortlessly across and between platforms.

Express your inner wizard with cat friends and elemental effects, embrace the stylings of a vampire while surrounding yourself with massive swarms of bats while leveraging bit bleed effects.

Hack and slash your way to ascension or stack yourself with a tactical loadout.

Automate your weapon and your character build with fully customizable weapons where every bullet is under your control, and combos that reward good performance with spectacular screen clearing attacks.

An Interconnected World

Exploration

You’ll start by entering Cyberspace from a hub world. You’ll explore this world to discover new enemies, bosses, items and backdoors into Simulators. The first act introduces the main mechanics of the game and the first simulator arena.

After defeating the first simulator, the world opens up into a larger superstructure with multiple paths, bosses and dungeons to defeat. It’s up to you to determine the meaning of this world from environmental cues as you work your way from the forest depths to an ancient site at the top of the world.

Addictive Roguelite Action

Simulation

Upon entering the simulator, your character is temporarily reset. Each simulator level is packed with nooks, crannies and secret routes to explore, but you’ll be distracted as waves of enemies and bosses attack you in a mix of scripted and procedural action unique to each arena.

Attack waves of enemies while the hazard builds up, achieving cooldown periods where you can spend your spoils of war creating the ultimate build.

Start with a knife. Finish with the arsenal of nations.

Player Builds

Core Abilities

  • Invest your hard fought for shards into skill points across a broad spectra of categories.

    Weapon Programmability

  • Every bullet can be customized, every reload can have effects. Invest in armoury crates to find epic unlocks and turn your pea shooter into an autoreloading electrical storm.

Chip Levels

  • Gain experience to unlock chips: choose from a random set of rewards on each level and seek out chips that compliment your core abilities.

Items

  • Items can be found and bought that provide temporary features or buffs to your character.

An Atmospheric World

The Decaying Cyberspace

You’ve been locked in cyberjail for who knows how long. The mysterious hacker has let you lose, but things have become disorganized since you were last free in this place. Security programs, arcade machines, science facilities that previously existed in tenuous balance now have one objective: to get you. Even the local fauna has run amok.

The world is packed with debris, old servers, plant pots, most of which can be shot, set on fire, or cut to pieces. Rain drips, wind blows, boomboxes boom and cats meow. Dynamic lighting sets the tone and line of sight based vision makes caves claustrophobic.

Lovingly crafted from over 3500+ hand made pixel assets for a slop free experience.

A Customizable Experience

  • UI Customization lets you choose how immersive or informational you want the HUD

  • Multiple Rendering Modes: Aperture Grill CRT emulation, Anti Aliasing, and Raw Pixels

    • Each mode is not a simple filter, but a dedicated rendering approach for translating the internal image to the presented image.
