What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're a small team, and we want to make the best possible product based on community feedback. Aisle Survive is a tough experience; getting the difficulty right will be key to its replay value. We want to see how challenging players find the game, and adjust accordingly.

Moreover, we're curious to see how players strategise, and use the upgrade items they acquire after failed runs. We want to make sure we're finding the best possible ways to reward players for their endeavours, and this will include taking on board suggestions for new mechanics suggested by the community.

Finally, it's inevitable that some bugs will fall through the net. By delivering an Early Access build up to a wide range of players, we've a greater chance of identifying and eliminating bugs before we release the final version. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're planning for the Early Access period to last for approximately three months. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build will contain all of the levels and mechanics that will appear in the final version of the game: the store shifts, the cutscenes, all of the game mechanics, and two unlockable endings. The game will be playable through from start to finish.

Our plan for the final build, therefore, is for it to be a refinement of the Early Access version. We plan to incorporate viable suggestions for new upgrade items and mechanics suggested by the community. It is hoped that the final build will also have a refined difficulty curve, depending on how players respond to the Early Access version. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game and its mechanics (as described in the About section) are all up and running. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not planning on changing the price when we leave Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be listening closely to the community for feedback on the game's overall difficulty, mechanics and replay value. See our response to Why Early Access?

Feel free to offer feedback via our website (link above.)”

About This Game

Jade operates the last human-run store in Mech City. Her employees must work harder and faster than any robot in existence - or suffer the consequences.

Glen, however, has reached his limit. He's done with retail; he's ready to quit. But there's just one problem: If he doesn't work his notice, Jade will ruin him. He will never work again.

He has no choice. He must finish the week. That's all. One week.

Aisle Survive is a retail rogue-like, a deli-crawling dystopia and a supermarket survivor like no other. The customers will crush you. The banana skins are baying for your blood. Finish the job before the job finishes you.

BECOME A MULTI-TASKING MASTER

Do it all, and do it quickly: stack the shelves, cook the chicken, manage your stress, manager your bladder... all before 5pm.

FAIL SPECTACULARLY

Jade only accepts the best. Fail a run and descend into the dark depths of the mysterious void to upgrade your gear and bounce back stronger.

STOP THE REVOLUTION

You've stolen the A.I.'s jobs, and they're not happy. Defend the store against the invading drones using Glen's signature breadstick melee.
