Hermit Computer is a horror-puzzle game set inside a secretive Hermit Kingdom's facility in the early 2000s. Players take on the role of James, an ex-con recruited as a CIA operative, whose mission is to uncover classified information using a restricted state-run computer system.

The gameplay blends escape room-style puzzle solving with psychological horror. Players search through hidden files, uncover censored secrets, and piece together fragmented stories while carefully managing a “Noise Meter” system that can alert nearby guards. If discovered, players must hide and rely on sound to survive.

Beyond solving puzzles, players must photograph important evidence hidden within the computer to complete espionage objectives. The game also features a narrative surrounding the computer’s former owner, a government worker executed shortly before the events of the game, whose personal story is gradually revealed through documents, passwords, and hidden files.

With its unique North Korean setting, mystery-driven gameplay, and streamer-friendly puzzle structure, Hermit Computer aims to create a tense and immersive experience that encourages exploration, discussion, and replayability.
