Declan Moses

«Planting the flag. Declan Moses is being built in public and Early Access lets players get their hands on a complete initial experience while helping shape what comes next. The goal is to earn trust through playable releases, visible progress, and continued development toward the finished game»

«It takes as long as it takes. In seriousness, I'm thinking another 12-18 months but I'd rather adjust the time frame than rush Declan Moses to meet a deadline. »

«Currently, the game contains the base loop and majority of features planned. Later updates will further flesh these out along with the Combat Crafting system planned. More style, more atmosphere, and more brutality. Later updates will include the final 15 levels (30 total), refine the visual language, and tell the story.»

While I have a pretty clear and rigid for Declan Moses' gameplay and story, I'm more than willing to make adjustments and additions when they fit within the scope, vision, and timeline of the game. Bug reports, balance concerns, gameplay suggestions, and notes about overall polish will help inform development throughout Early Access.»

WHO IS DECLAN MOSES?

You play as Declan Moses, a man who's taken it upon himself to clear his neighborhood of killers, pushers, traffickers, and scammers. Eventually, he finds himself clearing his district. Night after night, Declan intrudes into increasingly hostile locations to get back in his car and does it again.

HOW TO PLAY DECLAN MOSES

The rules are simple. Get into the building by kicking in the door, kill everyone that shoots back, and get back to the car. No sprint. No stealth. 2 hits will kill you. 1 gun at a time. You'll know how many mags you have, not how many rounds are in your gun. Aiming turns weapons into lasers, getting hit slows everything down long enough to understand your mistake. Hitting enemies in the head kills them immediately, while everywhere else forces them to flinch. Grab what's available and keep moving.

WHAT IS DECLAN MOSES?

A first person shooter designed around fun over realism, and focus over scale. A small set of mechanics that matter constantly rather than a large set of mechanics that matter occasionally. Brutal simplicity for players that appreciate mechanical FPS skill and challenge.
