Build the tavern your way

Your tavern begins small.

From there, you decide what it becomes.

Draw out rooms and extensions, shape the building around your plot, create kitchens, dining halls, brewing spaces, storage rooms, guest areas, and quiet corners by the fire.

Quickly create clean rooms, floors, corridors, kitchens, dining halls, and larger extensions.

Create rounded rooms, curved walls, cosy alcoves, circular dining spaces, and more unusual handcrafted layouts.

Then fill the tavern with seating, cooking stations, brewing equipment, decorations, games, lighting, storage, and dozens of pieces of furniture.

Cooking in HearthFall is something you physically do.

Prepare ingredients at your workstations, chop vegetables, mix ingredients, roll dough, stir dishes, tend meals as they cook, and serve the finished food directly to your guests.

Different recipes ask for different ingredients and preparation steps, turning the kitchen into a place you gradually learn and improve rather than a menu you simply click through.
