About This Game

Archibald was a nice guy. Too nice, probably. The kind of guy who spent his weekends rolling dice in a friend's basement, playing a barbarian hero named Branall — tall, fearless, and everything Archibald wasn't.

Then a rickety amusement park ride went very, very wrong.

Now Archibald is gone. Or rather, Archibald is here — trapped inside the hulking body of Branall the Barbarian, dropped into a sun-scorched desert, chained to a Wheel of Pain, and being yelled at by a princess who can't believe a legendary warrior just apologized to a slaver and offered him tips for constipation.

Dialogue That Bites Back

Not just the ones where people are swinging swords at you: the ones where a deposed princess is questioning your sanity, a slaver is critiquing your jokes, and you have to decide whether to roar like an animal or bow like a gentleman. Your choices shape who Konall becomes: a cunning diplomat in a warrior's body, a brute who's learning tenderness, or something the world has never seen before.

Pixelart Combat with Real Stakes

Pixel-art combat brings the fantasy to life with tactical battles where Konall's legendary strength meets the harsh reality of a world that wants him dead. Branall's body is a weapon, but even legends can bleed. Master a combat system that rewards both raw power and clever thinking.

A Fish Out of Water in a World of Blood and Steel

Travel on an overworld map, get quests, explore dungeons, fight monsters, gain levels. Desert kingdoms, serpentine witch-kings, fallen cities, and forgotten gods: the world draws deeply from the sword-and-sorcery tradition, brutal, mythic, and dripping with atmosphere. This isn't a sanitized fantasy theme park. Well, technically one was involved, but it killed you, so that chapter's over.

Romance Worth Fighting For

From the fierce, sharp-tongued Princess Neferketi to the memory of Maria, the girl next door who made Archibald brave enough to become someone new, the relationships in this game are layered, surprising, and earned. Expect banter. Expect feelings. Expect a princess telling you to kill someone while you're offering her captor healthcare advice.
