About This Game

You took a warehouse job, then the warehouse closed. Now there's a table in your basement and a stolen crate waiting for you to open it!

Donor Zero is a 1990s body-horror management sim. You run a one-person black market for alien organs: source the bodies, open them up by hand, and move the parts to factions who all want something different and none of whom you trust. Thirty days to clear your debt. The whole city is watching the wrong door, for now.

Bodies come off the black market sight-unseen. A cheap corpse can be full of ruined organs; an expensive one can pay for the week. You learn to read a seller, a price, and a risk before you ever pick up the cutter.

Extraction is a steady-hands job. Trace the cut in one clean stroke. Rush it or drift off the line and a high-value organ drops to scrap. Every body is a small anatomy puzzle.

The factions don't agree on anything except that they need what's on your table. Play them against each other, hold stock for a better offer, or dump it fast when the heat climbs. What you sell, to whom, changes who comes knocking.

There is no danger bar! You read the danger the way Frank does: through the basement window. A quiet block is a good day. A car parked too long, a face you've seen twice, a van that wasn't there yesterday, those are the warnings, and they're the only ones you get.

One campaign, one debt, one deadline. Bank the money before the clock runs out and the people watching the wrong door figure out which door is yours.

Every body, room, and face is hand illustration, painted for a grimy 1990s basement-and-fluorescent palette. A gore toggle is built in: the body-horror has a point, not a shock quota. Clinical when you want it, full when you don't.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game involves the extraction and sale of organs from alien corpses. Players use tools such as scalpels, saws, and laser cutters directly on specimen bodies. The game contains depictions of gore, visceral fluids, and dismemberment during extraction sequences. A gore toggle is available in the accessibility settings for players who prefer to skip these visuals. The game also depicts illegal activity, black market trading, and themes of government surveillance and paranoia. Language is occasionally crude. There is no sexual content.
