About This Game

BUSINGO is a first-person survival road trip for solo and online co-op play.

You follow an endless, procedurally generated road through a dry, post-apocalyptic world in one shared bus.

Driving and customization

You can walk around inside the bus while another player drives.

• Removable parts. You can remove and reinstall 32 parts, including doors, windows, wheels, seats and lights. Hard impacts can detach nearby parts.

• Building on the bus. Planks, beams, plywood and metal sheets bolt onto the bus and each other to form platforms and roof decks. You can also secure furniture and cargo.

• Spray paint. You can paint the bus, items and solid world surfaces. Paint follows removable parts as they move.

Scavenging and survival

Fuel stops hold fuel, diners hold food, and bus shelters hold water. Collected supplies do not restock.

• Water and fuel. You can fill your canteen from bottles or the shared bus tank. You refuel the bus from fuel cans.

• Injuries. Wounds affect individual body parts. Bandages stop bleeding, and splints treat fractures. Chapels and relay huts hold medical supplies.

• Recovery. An incapacitated player recovers near the bus. Recovery draws up to 40 units from the shared water tank. Insufficient water means lower health on return.

The road and its towns

The route passes fuel stops, diners, motels and faction towns. Haze, darkness and sandstorms limit visibility.

• Item trades. Town traders exchange one whole item for another, without money.

• Faction reputation. Town trades improve your group's reputation with that faction. Witnessed theft immediately reduces it. Violence can also reduce it. Reputation applies across that faction's towns, and hostile factions refuse trade.

• Roadside groups. Some groups exchange supplies. Others attack when you approach on foot. You can drive past them.

Solo and online co-op

Friends can join an ongoing trip through Steam. You can also play alone.

• Passenger roles. Seated passengers see markers for nearby roadside groups and reveal more of the shared map.

• Returning players. The host's world saves guest inventories, health, hunger and thirst for later visits.
