About This Game

Broken Tide is a narrative fishing adventure with a deckbuilding system that lets you shape the sea as you sail it. Each morning you decide which tiles to take aboard. Out on the water, every move forward means drafting the next stretch of sea from what you brought. Some routes are rich with fish. Others hold something you weren't looking for.

The sea is never the same twice. Islands, lighthouses, wrecks - and things that shouldn't be there - form and dissolve as you lay down tile after tile. You decide the shape of your journey, but never what waits at the end of it. Push further for a bigger haul. Just make sure you're back before dark.

Your radio is always on. Other fishers guide you, warn you, lie to you. You choose who to believe. Just don't listen to the whispers of the water.

Sell your catch, upgrade your boat, and prepare for another day. Better gear takes you into waters most have learned to avoid - deeper, longer, further from shore. And every time you return, the harbour feels a little quieter.

Only you know what happened the day your best friend died – the day something got hold of you. Day by day, tile by tile, you piece together a mystery you may not want to solve. Every day is a fresh run; every run is a chapter of the same story.
