Cargo Runner: Faction Fracture is a top-down 2D rogue-like space cargo hauler. Pilot your ship through three increasingly dangerous sectors, trading goods between rival factions, managing a tight power budget, and making split-second decisions that shift the balance of power in the galaxy.

Every run is different. Every delivery is a gamble.

The Run

Each run takes you through 3 sectors of procedurally generated star maps. Dock at faction stations to buy and sell cargo, pick up missions, hire crew, and upgrade your ship. But watch your back – pirates patrol the lanes, corruption spreads through each sector, and the factions are always watching.

At the end of each sector, a boss encounter stands between you and the jump gate. Adapt your loadout or die trying.

Key Features

• Rogue-like Structure – 3-sector runs with permadeath, procedural generation, and high replayability. No two runs play the same.
  
• Faction System – Three factions – the Federation, the Pirates, and the Swine – each with unique stations, cargo, missions, and reputation tiers. Help one, anger another.
  
• Power Budget Management – Allocate limited power between engines, shields, weapons, and cargo systems. Every upgrade forces a trade-off.
  
• Dynamic Economy – Prices shift based on supply, demand, and faction influence. Buy low at one station, sell high at another – if you can survive the trip.
  
• Boon Synergies & Build-Crafting – Collect boons and discover powerful synergy combos that define your playstyle. Go all-in on speed, firepower, cargo capacity, or find creative combinations.
  
• 2-4 Player Competitive Multiplayer – Race against other haulers in the same star map. Trade, fight, sabotage, or just outrun them. The hauler with the most profit wins.
  
• 9 Unlockable Ships – Each ship has a unique hull, stats, and special ability. Unlock them by completing challenges.
  
• Daily Challenges & Leaderboards – Compete for the top score on seeded daily runs.

Contraband & Corruption

The real money is in illegal goods – but carrying contraband raises your suspicion level. Get caught by a faction patrol, and you'll pay the price. Let sector corruption climb too high, and the entire map becomes hostile. Know when to push your luck and when to dump the cargo.

Crew & Fleet

Hire crew members who provide passive bonuses and unlock new capabilities. Build out a small fleet to increase your hauling capacity – but more ships mean more targets.

Boss Fights

Each sector culminates in a unique boss encounter. Study their patterns, exploit their weaknesses, and use every upgrade you've collected to survive. Defeat them to unlock the gate to the next sector – or to extract with your earnings.
