About This Demo

Your squad of curious whiskered beings wandered into a newly unearthed pyramid, woke up a very dead and very offended pharaoh, and got kidnapped for their trouble.

Well, almost all of them.

In this free demo of Whiskers In The Sand, you get an early slice of the survivors-like cat chaos: short wave-based arena combat, between-wave shopping, silly item combinations, Egyptian mythology nonsense, and enough undead scarabs to make any sensible cat reconsider archaeology.

What’s Included in This Demo

This demo is a limited version of Whiskers In The Sand focused on the early-game combat loop and buildcrafting.

Demo content includes:

• Runs capped at Wave 15.

• 3 playable characters: Jonesy, Clover, and Snarl.

• 3 usable weapon slots.

• 1 pet slot, with Bluebird available.

• A selection of demo weapons, including PP7, Knife, Snubby, Uzi, Short-Barreled Shotgun, Mortar Tube, Hand Axe, and Stiletto.

• A reduced but varied item pool for experimenting with builds.

• Between-wave shop decisions, rerolls, weapon upgrades, and item synergies.

• Early enemy waves, bosses, and escalating arena pressure.

• The Compendium, so you can preview some of what exists beyond the demo.

What’s Limited Compared to the Full Game

This demo does not include the full progression system.

The following are limited or disabled in the demo:

• No saved long-term progression.

• No post-run unlock progression.

• Scarab coin progression is disabled.

• Sekhmet’s Emporium is closed for purchases.

• Some upgrades and systems are preview-only or unavailable.

• Many full-game characters, weapons, pets, items, enemies, bosses, and upgrades are not included.

The full version of Whiskers In The Sand will expand the game with more playable characters, more weapons, more pets, more items, more enemies, permanent roguelite progression, additional upgrades, and the full climb toward the pharaoh’s throne room.
