About This Game

Hookshot your way through a precision platformer built for players who want their reflexes and their brains tested in equal measure.

Grapple and climb as Hatch, a flightless hawk mountaineer, across the frozen kingdom of Talonreach chaining hookshot movement into puzzle-solving without ever breaking the flow. Every level teaches you a rule, then pushes it further than you expect.

200+ levels. Two full campaigns: Play through Hatch's story across eight worlds, then unlock a second, entirely separate campaign starring Chicken Wiggle. Same structure, different hero, tougher challenge, with switchable retro and modern art styles.

Five powerups that change how you move: Speed lets you break blocks at a run. Drill cuts through terrain. Wing grants flight. Airstep doubles your jump. Ghost passes you through hazards and fight ghost enemies! Each one opens up how a level can be solved, not just how it looks.

Build your own tales: A full in-game Level Editor lets you design your own stages and play what other players have built.

A Note from the Developer

Hatch Tales started life back in 2018 as a Kickstarter to remake our 3DS game Chicken Wiggle. The project grew a lot along the way: new hero, new story, and a lot more game than we first set out to build. It took us longer to get there than any of us expected. What we have today is a platformer we're genuinely proud of. The original Chicken Wiggle campaign is still in there too, fully playable and just as you remember it, alongside everything new we built around it. Now we get to share it with even more players and we hope you have as much fun with it as we did making it. - The Atooi Team
