About This Demo

You sit across from a city council full of officials who all have something to say. Some are telling the truth. Some are not. Your job: figure out who is lying, build your case and arrest every corrupt official before your mistakes cost you everything.

Three wrong arrests and the case is over. Arrest the Mayor by mistake and it is over instantly. There is no guessing and no luck, every answer is solvable through logic alone.

Corrupt officials do not just lie. They disguise themselves behind fake roles. Some force honest people to say dishonest things. Others silence key witnesses before you can act on their testimony.

Every statement on the table is a clue, but it is up to you to decide whether that clue is truthful, distorted or deliberately planted.

Your investigation toolkit

  • Passive role statements give you information about the table - distances to corrupt seats, adjacency patterns, alignment pairs and more.
  • Active abilities let you test your theories directly: verify whether someone is lying, count corrupt officials in a group or check if two seats share an alignment.
  • Hired Professionals are consumable tools earned as you progress - reveal a card's true alignment, expose their lie status or give a role a second use of their ability.
  • Card annotations help you organize your thinking. Stamp suspects, mark the innocent and color-code cards to track your deductions.

15 levels — Act I

The demo contains the full first act of the campaign. It starts with five officials and a single Crook, then gradually introduces new corrupt roles and grows the table up to fourteen seats. By the end of Act I you will be dealing with Blackmailers who force honest officials to lie and Silencers who shut down key witnesses before you can reach them.

Each level builds on the last. New mechanics arrive one at a time so the logic always stays learnable.

Play your way

  • Custom Game - set table size (7-10 seats), corrupt count and role pool. Build the exact puzzle you want within the demo's scope.
  • Shareable seeds and level codes - every game is deterministic. Share a code and someone else gets the exact same puzzle.
  • Mid-level save/load and run history to support longer sessions.
  • Full tutorial that teaches the core loop before the campaign begins.

No time pressure. No combat. No randomized luck. Just you, a table full of claims and one question: who do you trust enough to leave standing?

The full game includes two additional acts with harder difficulty, a wider corrupt role roster and a 45-level campaign.
