Coming to Steam in Early Access on June 26, 2026, VELATO operates on three layers, each adding strategic depth:

Layer 1 — Poker Hand & Joker Engine

Players draw poker hands, resolve their strongest line, and build around Jokers that modify score, multiplier, economy, consistency, and risk.

• Over 120 Jokers, each built around Suit, Rank, Bet, Truth or Bluff

• 3 table phases per floor: small table, big table, and a boss showdown

• A bluff-driven poker system where declaring the right hand matters as much as building it

• Dynamic AI opponents with visible boss rules and hidden behavioral patterns

• Score engines and risk engines that let you win with raw hand power or mind games

• Boss-specific punishments and counters that force you to pivot your strategy
