About This Game

DECOMMISSION PROTOCOL

A sci-fi cosmic horror game about decommissioning a derelict space station. You are a contracted station engineer sent to shut down an aging orbital platform drifting above a frozen planet. Your job is simple: stabilize critical systems, cycle the station through decommission phases, and purge it for the final sever sequence.

You must operate a fully manual service elevator which allows you to stop between floors. Every floor contains a unique system to operate, repair, or shut down - each becoming more dangerous as the station enters deeper decommission phases.

FEATURES

  • Manual elevator traversal - Move vertically through the station using a fully manual service elevator. Control exactly where you stop along the elevator shaft and discover secrets hidden between the floors.

  • Unique hands-on systems - Every floor contains its own interactive machinery and puzzle minigame that must be completed to decommission the station.

  • Escalating station phases - As you progress, systems degrade, environments change, and the station becomes increasingly hostile.

  • Industrial cosmic horror - Explore dim maintenance corridors, abandoned service chambers, and locked-out station controls. You are not alone.

  • Multiple endings - Follow standard decommission protocols... or uncover the story buried inside the station and decide its fate yourself.

GAMEPLAY

Travel between floors aboard a service elevator connected to the station's maintenance shaft. Stop at maintenance points, exit the elevator, and complete each floor's required shutdown puzzle minigame before advancing the station into the next phase.
As the phase advances, minigames will become more difficult to complete and other threats will emerge. Observation and experimentation are key to survival.

STORY

The Pillar-series stations were designed to operate for decades in deep orbit. Edith station is no different. Built to study gravitational and atmospheric anomalies above the ice planet of Assaracus, ground control claims the station was abandoned almost exactly a year ago - an unusually long time to sit derelict.

You are a space station engineer working for Ocular systems. You've decommissioned more than a couple Pillar-series stations so this should be no different, but the further you delve into the station, the less the official story makes sense. Why are all the doors locked? Maintenance logs appear recent. The station is crumbling around you.

Something vast has consumed Edith station. Space and time distort as it slowly digests it from the inside out.
