About This Software

Slime Locomotion is a universal SteamVR movement simulator that allows you to walk naturally—including forward, backward, left, and right movement—using your footsteps in most VR games that support thumbstick locomotion. It reduces motion sickness and provides a full-body workout while gaming.

Key Features

  • Precise Detection: The software integrates a highly sensitive human posture detection system that accurately recognizes body movements and converts them into simulated controller inputs.

  • Fast Response: Backward and strafing movements are recognized instantly, while forward movement is detected within 0.2 seconds.

  • Hip Orientation Tracking: Move based on your body's orientation so you can look around without drifting off course. Compared to traditional HMD and controller tracking, this is far more natural.

  • Activity Tracking: The software provides real-time statistics on step count, distance traveled, and calories burned—making it a great companion for exercise and fitness!

  • Multi-Language Support: Supports 30 languages.

Important Information You Should Know

  • We have done our best to ensure Slime Locomotion supports all devices, but incompatibility issues may still occur. Please report any incompatible device models to us.

  • Supports connection to common full-body tracking sensors on the market (based on the open communication protocol OSC), with more device models to be compatible in the future.

  • The game must be set to track headset movement for hip orientation tracking to take effect.
