About This Content

Naval Action - Montanes

This is a premium consumable ship. It is not refundable. You must level up an appropriate rank to sail it fully crewed.

Montanes - translated as Highlander - was one of the best examples of Spanish shipbuilding strengths. Montanes was fully copper plated giving the ship a good speed advantage over other third rates.

Montanes was designed by Julián Martín de Retamosa who built this ship in Ferol Shipyard. The ship was paid by people of Cantabria. Montanes had an illustrious life participating in many battles, including Trafalgar in the second division commandeered by Francisco de Alcedo. Francisco was killed during battle but the ship survived suffering minimal losses.

About premium consumable vessels.

Premium ships cannot be captured by players or traded. You can request this vessel from the admiralty once a day as long as you don't have the same vessel already in your docks. You will be able to request the frame and planking wood type when ordering a ship. Admiralty requests for this ship will be completed instantly.

Imported DLC ships allows you to ignore hauling of resources and crafting receiving the ship for free: Just buy guns, repairs, and other consumables and you are good to go. If you don't plan to use the ship for combat - for example for hauling - you don't even need guns, repairs and consumables.

DLC will appear in your redeemable list after you dock to any port. You must have an appropriate rank to sail it fully crewed.
